VEGAS BABY!

So....

I can't even remember the start of the week. I do know that last week I decided to "do Vegas" - five year old style. WHAT DOES THAT EVEN MEAN???

It means water slide hopping, water park hopping and David Copperfield. It means lazy river rides, frozen banana dipped in chocolate and fruity pebbles, Dippin' Dots, pizza, corn dogs and funnel cake. It means crazy fun memories and it also means I need another vacation.

Wait a minute. I just remembered the beginning of the week. It was before Vegas... a water park in Connecticut. It started this way:

Flying High

 Sorry I'm late.

It's been a little hectic.

It was 113 degrees here in Vegas today! Whew! So glad to be here rehearsing again though! I can take the heat :) This week is going to be AWESOME! It's such an honor to work with Rick James' Original Stone City Band!

I was all set for a cool blog about the great time I had in Vegas rehearsing with an awesome band... then students were shot and killed in school - AGAIN.

The standard "thoughts and prayers" are not sufficient when children continue to suffer and die. I begin today's blog by inviting us all to take at least one step of action toward change. Here is an article with some suggestions:

I was so Blessed to be able to travel to Las Vegas to rehearse with one of my favorite bands ever!!!

I LOVED IT! I felt like I was home. 

THIS is what happens when I am left unattended in Vegas with a credit card... SMH.
