Oh yeah. It's a word - and if we had been playing Scrabble, I would have lost that challenge. Put a point on the board for Russ. #LearnAWord :)

Besides that, there was a sick kid and a car accident. (Everyone's ok. It was just me and the guy who hit me while attempting to enter my lane from the left. SMH.) I'm especially grateful for a kid who is feeling much better, car insurance, and a repair shop that can fix things right away.

This week is going to be great! There's a gig, a rehearsal and Easter! #LetsGo

The Bright Spot

Earlier in the week I jotted down a note: "The Bright Spot." The thought occurred to me while driving to a doctor appointment, when I saw a lady crossing the street and talking on her phone. She was beaming. Whomever she was talking to, whatever they were saying had her completely transformed into a ray of light. I thought she was in "the bright spot."

How nice - that we have the ability to do that.

Sick

Sick.

After three doctors, five prescription medications, one chest x-ray, three cancelled workout appointments, and countless sinus rinses and tissues, I think I'm finally on the upswing. At least I managed to sleep for more than a couple of hours. Things can only get better from here!

Looking forward to a brand new start! Maybe Zach will even let me cut fruit again.
